What We MAY Collect

3. Browser Permissions

Easy Screen Capture requests the following browser permissions only when you initiate a recording:

Screen Sharing — To capture your selected screen, window, or tab.
Camera — Only if you enable the webcam overlay option.
Microphone — Only if you enable the microphone option.

These permissions are handled entirely by your browser's native APIs. You can revoke them at any time through your browser settings. We cannot access these streams outside of your active recording session.

4. Data Storage

All recording data is temporarily held in your browser's memory during the recording process. When you stop recording, the data is assembled into a downloadable file on your device. We have no access to this file. Once you close or refresh the page, any unsaved recording data in browser memory is lost.

5. Cookies

Easy Screen Capture does not use cookies for tracking or advertising purposes. If analytics are enabled, only essential, privacy-respecting cookies may be used.

6. Third-Party Services

Easy Screen Capture does not integrate with third-party services that have access to your recordings. The app runs on standard web hosting and uses no external APIs for its core functionality.
